Meteorology: Cold to very cold weather on the highlands and plateaus

The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning expects cold to very cold weather overnight and early morning in the governorates of (Saada, Amran, Sana’a, Dhamar, Al-Bayda and Al-Dhalea Heights, Lahj, Abyan, Ibb, western Al-Jawf and southern Marib).

Cold weather is also expected in the highlands of the governorates of (Hadhramaout, Shabwa, Taiz, Raymah, Al Mahwit and Hajjah).

The center warned citizens in the above-mentioned highlands of cold and extreme cold, especially the elderly, children, sick people and workers during the night and early morning.

He advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops and crops from damage.

He also warned those traveling to cold areas of the need to take necessary precautions to avoid thermal shock.
